What do you understand when you hear the headline “TAALASH Behind TAALASH”?

Yes, it is a new phrase.

“TAALASH” is a Bangladeshi TV news team that covers some secret facts.
“TAALASH” means “Find Out,” which implies “spying to discover the real facts.”
Therefore, ‘TAALASH Behind TAALASH’ simply translates to ‘Spy behind the spy.’
Let us get to the real reason.
TAALASH recently published an investigative report on why Indigenous women from the CHT region are marrying Chinese men. They uncovered a lot of information. However, I feel they have exaggerated the issue.
Nonetheless, TAALASH deserves thanks.
There remains a question as to why they can travel from one end of Bangladesh to another for this simple issue and even go abroad. But why can’t they uncover many similarly important issues within the country?
For instance, the case of Kalpana Chakma, a victim of military abduction in the CHT region, has remained unresolved for decades.This is a significant issue that demands attention. It’s perplexing why TAALASH hasn’t taken the initiative to investigate this case.
Equally concerning is the fact that many Indigenous women are marrying Muslims and facing severe hardships. It’s surprising that TAALASH has shown no interest in investigating this issue, which is equally important and deserving of attention.
They know how fundamentalist Islamic groups are converting Indigenous people in Bandarban. Why is TAALASH extremely indifferent to this issue?
All these matters are within the country. There is no need to go outside to investigate, and it doesn’t cost millions of takas. But why don’t they do it?
I don’t know why I am raising all these matters. What else can we expect from journalists who sell their brains to the country’s Islamic ideologists?
Is there another reason behind TAALASH’s investigation into Indigenous women marrying Chinese men?
Yes. There might be another reason related to the country’s fundamentalists or military. That is to prevent Indigenous women. The fundamentalists do not want Indigenous women to marry Chinese men, whether legally or illegally.
The reason is that if a significant number of Indigenous women marry Chinese citizens, it might hinder their future aggression. It could obstruct their future plans.
Killing two birds with one stone: gaining the trust of the Indigenous community and preventing Indigenous women from marrying Chinese.
Therefore, it’s not that TAALASH was concerned about the suffering of women marrying Chinese men. They published it for their ideological interests. And if it is not for their ideological interests, why can’t they investigate the other issues I mentioned?
Many of our Indigenous leaders have understood the matter, but many have not fully comprehended it yet. The Chakma King has deeply understood the issue, and his Facebook status proves it.
I agree with the Chakma King. It is not right to prevent all women from going to China. It is not right to stop those who want to go to China for their personal or other purposes, nor even be blocked if they marry Chinese according to the correct rules.
The most important matter the people of the Chittagong Hill Tracts have to think about is how to maintain their relationship with the Chinese people. The citizens of China look at the Indigenous people in a more respected way than the majority Muslim community.
